    wtf my gears disk wont playany more its got no scratches on it just says reboot xbox or clean disk? anyone know a fix

    Try cleaning it with toothpaste. I've heard that works.

    Failing that, get a new disk. You should be able to get gears fairly cheaply now.

    Look around the ends, you will notice a circular scratch

    If so, its broken for good.

    I hate to be the one to tell you this, but the problem may not be with your disc - it's probably your 360.  I was having similar dirty disc errors and ended up having to buy a new console.  Try some different games and a different copy of Gears to troubleshoot the error.

    It could very likely be this...if you're getting errors with a perfectly clean disc then something is wrong. Have you tried other games and do they work fine?

    I had the problem with Burnout Paradise. I thought it was my 360 since it didn't happen until a month after I started playing the game until I tried it on my friend's 360 only to get the same problem 5 minutes into it. Probably a corrupt disk image.

    Did you knock your console over or something?
