"Collecting the Nation's Worst"
An all-male school located near the industrial area on the Yamamoto river. The school's motto is "Use lessons that drill the mind to raise people who don't drift from the way of the people" although the students argue otherwise and say its "By gang morals and perseverance, one person will force a lot of graduations".
Gedo was originally a high-profile school that nurtured excellence in both academics and martial arts with the aim of raising fine well-behaved Japanese men. Over time though Gedo devolved into a correctional facility of sorts where droves of the nation's young delinquents were sent for rehabilitation. Enrollment has been steadily dwindling over the years due to the gradual decline of the industrial area beside it which is in danger of becoming obsolete.
The school has around 320 freshmen, 160 juniors and 80 seniors enrolled. They are all kept in line by Daigo Kazama who acts as the bancho of Gedo.
Daigo's younger sister, Akira Kazama, enrolled in Gedo posing as a boy after her brother went missing. She later transferred to Seijyun Girls' High School in Project Justice.
Gedo High has a searing hatred and rivalry with Gorin High.
