After the cult success of their 8-bit Master System, Sega decided to give gamers a taste of their arcade capabilities with a 16-bit console. Known worldwide as the Mega Drive but called Genesis in the US, it provided graphics and sound a couple of steps below their popular System 16 arcade cabinets. The Mega Drive/Genesis turned out to be Sega's most successful console.

Blaze is rereleasing the Mega Drive.

    http://www.segaretro.net/comingsoon.html

They have already made the handheld megadrive (which I want so bad) which 30 built in games, the 2 gamepad one that hooks up to the tell (with 10 built in games) but now there releasing a Mega Drive console with 30 built in games which appears to use original controllers and has a cartridge port that runs original cartridges!!! Ye man.

I think the expected price in the UK is £40/30 which is not bad really, and im assuming its selling in Argos since they sell/sold the handheld console and the 2 gamepad editions.

    Yay cant wait :)
