It's my brothers birthday coming up and I'd like to get him something special. Him and I used to play an old hockey game on our old genesis (WHY DID I SELL YOU??!?!?). The only really distinguishing feature of the game that I can remember was: during team selection you would have to skate with a genetic player to which ever team's flag to select them

After the cult success of their 8-bit Master System, Sega decided to give gamers a taste of their arcade capabilities with a 16-bit console. Known worldwide as the Mega Drive but called Genesis in the US, it provided graphics and sound a couple of steps below their popular System 16 arcade cabinets. The Mega Drive/Genesis turned out to be Sega's most successful console.

At team selection the camera angle would be down low on the ice with the teams in the upper left and right. Players would then move their generic P1 and P2 hockey players to the left or right depending on which team they wanted to control.
