It's been so long since there's been a good feudal ninja game...

I really thought it was a tenchu sequel at first. Those first two games were such a great time as a youngster.

The 2nd tenchu still has one of the coolest game intro movies. I'd kill for an updated remake of the first 2 games.

Nioh's a pretty good samurai game but yeah it's pretty different from Tenchu. Given Sucker Punch's past with the Sly games this could be more your style. Sucker Punch have said it's an open world stealth action game with player choice. (i'm guessing they mean in regards to the story not just gameplay) Which sounds exciting. I wasnt the biggest fan of Second Son but it sure did look great so i'm looking forward to seeing what they can do with this setting.

After inFamous I'm really hoping this is the open world ninja game I've always wanted. Or maybe it's some kind of ghost sushi simulator.

The trailer had me thinking it was more Onimusha than Tenchu, but Ghost is right in the title so I'm probably wrong.

I know its slightly off topic but i loved playing as the girl in tenchu 2. She was awesome. Just spreading some tenchu love.

I thought the Sekiro Shadows Die Twice trailer looked closer to new Tenchu, plus From Software made the original Tenchu.

Aquire made the first Tenchu game. Sekiro looks more like Ninja Bloodborne. Which I'm cool with.

Vaguely kept making me think of the Way of the Samurai games. That series seems to be dead.

2019 Year of Tenchu?

I thought this was more of a Ninja game when it was first revealed. Looked more like a Samurai game though you could stealth too... I guess it could be both at once, why not.

Anyways, samurai games are very welcome with me.

I assume this will be about the development of ninja techniques. Most actual "Ninja" were just samurai who had to do shit in secret. From their actions, legends developed.

Based on everything Sucker Punch has said this week, it's as much a ninja game as a samurai game. It'll have skill trees for both, and you'll be able to play either way you want.
