Hard to call this a sequel....

Sounds similar to Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, which I really enjoyed after being skeptical. This could be fun.

Looks like a top-down Guantlet-type, but Ghostbusters themed.  Count me in!

Hopefully it isn't as much of a let down as the first one was.

This reminds me of that old Ghostbusters Arcade game that hardly anyone played.  I remember liking it a lot at the time, so this intrigues me a bit.

Looks like Burn Zombie Burn, but you know, Ghostbusters.

I didn't mind the last Ghostbusters game that badly, even if the voice work and scripting was rather terrible.
 
In fact I'd be more than happy if they even just cut away that voice-over work completely for this, just so I don't have to listen to a half-hearted Bill Murray drudge through his lines over a phone or something.

Shame it isnt a full retail game like Terminal Reality's Ghostbusters as that was susprisingly decent, but this could be pretty good, plus it has co-op which seems a perfect fit really.

I've never understood the appeal of Ghostbusters as a video game.

as long as this isnt a dual-stick Smash TV-esque game i am totally in.

meh, playing as the ghost busters doesn't look fun.  I mean you've got these beams that you point at ghosts, and that's about it.  You'll never get a shotgun or grenades... 

For real, why don't they use that fat subscription money to pay someone to do these without all of the poor writing, late timing, and typos?  I know they're still probably on shaky ground, but surely they can find someone better or more consistent than Brad, right?  Like me, of course!

I couldn't finish the recent videogame, despite being a big fan of Ghostbusters.  The gameplay was just so generic and uninspired.
This on the other hand looks like a lot of fun, and the top down perspective really worked for Tomb Raider.

Let's not call it a 'sequel' let's call it "next game for the franchise."

Hopefully this will do for Ghostbusters what Guardian of Light did for Tomb Raider.

I loved the first one. If this turns out playable I'll certainly buy it in hope that a real sequel is made.
