    Does the imported version of Ghostbusters (region free) give out Achievments on UK Xbox 360's?

    Well yeah, I havn't heard otherwise. 
     
    Unless the game is special, some games have an EU version and a US version, but if the game plays on the UK xbox, you will get achievements. Many use the same achievements list, ghostbusters probably will too. 
     
    I imported Marvel Ultimate Alliance because it was much cheaper, got tons of achievements.

    I can confirm- i live in england and have imported the game  - as oyu can see on my profile page- it does indeed give achievments
