Who are you going to call?
The boys are back so strip on those proton packs and lets bust some ghost in Ghostbusters the Video Game (I will be reviewing the Xbox 360/PC/PS3 version, but the game is also available on the Wii, PS2 and DS). You play as The Rookie, the new guy in the ghostbusters crew.
Before I start this game has the best story in any game I've played and I am hopeing this will be the story in Ghostbusters 3, I wouldn't even mind the movie looking like this game. They even got the original writers and actors to do voice. You play as the new kid, The Rookie. He never talks which is something I got to complain about. He never talks at all, never once, and every one just calls him Rookie. I see why they did this though and that is a real minor.
This game looks great
This game has a couple of problems. The biggest one that keeps this game from being the best game based on a movie is that it's repetive. Traping ghosts is great but you dont do that all the time, you also use the shock blast (ghost hunting shotgun) to destroy ghosts. I want to trap ghost more that is best part about the game, slaming ghost in the trap. And for some reson there are puzzles which are boring and I wish would wipe away clean.

Now into the extras. The boss battles are fun, I don't want to give away any more than that. The achievements are worth mentioning, they have Ghostbusters quotes for the Ghostbusters fan, and if you look around the Firehouse when you collect some of the cursed artifact, they show up and little ghostbusters thing from the last movie also appears, like the painting of Vigo from Ghostbusters 2, which will talk to you about killing those who you care about. I also suggest playing muiltplayer with some friends, I played with some random pepole which was not as fun.
I give it a 7.5/10. Could have been longer and was repetitive
One final word, if you are not going to get the game at least go to youtube and watch all the cut-scenes or read about the story online.
