A special attack that kills the enemy instantly, often in a more stylish way than simply reducing the health to zero. In some games, glory kills can give bonuses like extra health or ammo.
Examples
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
In Sekiro, deathblows can be performed stealthily or after filling up the enemy's posture gauge. Skills give the player health and reduced posture gauge on a deathblow.
Doom Reboot
In the Doom reboot, dealing a certain amount of damage causes the enemy to flash colors. Performing different types of glory kills awards the player health or ammo drops.
