" It's just like the old days... Camelot making awesome SEGA Saturn RPGs that Sony fanboys pretend don't exist. Maaaaan I love this. "
now they just need compatibility with golden sun and lost age GBA either via cart or code so some weapons, and stats and certain story elements are carried over.

I am so fucking hyped for this game! This is the one thing I really wanted out of Nintendo for years. The first two games were amazing and easily in the top 5 of the best RPGs I've ever played. I really hope it's being developed as a high quality product and not some weird spin-off. The only thing left to make this game perfect would be utilizing my Lost Age clear save in some way (at least I think I remember a clear save...).
I also hope you can transfer data from The Lost Age. Pop in the GBA cart, sync with DS game. It would be so easy.
You won't start off with all the summons though like AgentJ, suggested. Lost Age gave you a brand new party for most of the game, and then your team met up with your party members from Golden Sun. I thought that was a great way to do it.
My (Clear Data) is ready and waiting with all 72 Djinns. :)
I posted this in the Nintendo press conference thread, but thought I'd post here too...
When Reggie said:
"Before we get off of RPG's, I want to show you one more that has been sleeping for awhile now..."
Did anyone else, even for only those few seconds between that statement and the GSDS trailer, get super excited that it might be an Earthbound/MOTHER announcement? I set myself up for major disappointment.
Although, GS was one of my first GBA games and I have fond memories of it. So I'm pumped.
I don't want to take any chances and ruin the game(s) for anybody, so I'll just put that out there, read only if you have completed both games :P
SPOILER ALERT
How does this game fit in the sequel? I don't remember Lost Age, I'm trying to figure out if I even played it. I know I started it, but I don't remember everything. So when it comes to the timeline, how does everything fit together?
Where does the first game end, where does the other one pick up, and where does the last one end. Because I'm pretty sure it's a sequel...
