The updated version of San Andreas features "remastered graphics including dynamic and detailed shadows, greater draw distance, an enriched color palette, plus enhanced character and car models."

Additionally, Rockstar has included new contextual controls, a new touch-screen control scheme, controller support, and modified the checkpoint system, so you likely won't have to restart entire missions when failing

It'll probably choke my first-gen Kindle Fire, but hell yes if it runs. Worst case scenario, if/when BlueStacks fixes its control issues, I can play it there.

I wish Rockstar would quit doing this. Or, at least port these 'remasters' over to Vita/3DS/XBLA/PSN. The touch controls never feel right (Re: Max Payne, Grand Theft Auto III). And even if they did, I don't want to play a fifteen-plus hour game on my fucking phone. Maybe I'm weird.
