GTA IV had a timed exclusivity on DLC. On the other hand both Red Dead and LA Noire had exclusive PS3 DLC instead.
So any exclusives coming our way for GTA V? Wild guess time.
GO!
PS3 will get special DLC for those who buy the game new. Nothing special, and nothing helpful for the player (maybe a gun that's useful for an hour).
XBox360 will get timed exclusivity of the first DLC of worth. This will only be a month long, and may not be the largest DLC pack.
PC will be getting the game day one. Enjoy
WiiU will have no DLC, but will get the game (eventually).
PS Vita (if it gets it) will get special multiplayer modes. Unique from the consoles to allow for smaller player count.

Any wild guesses on console exclusives?
PS3 multiplatform games sell outstanding but are still consistently outsold on xbox360....how about no exclusivity for what may be one of the best selling games of all time (remember the record shattering GTA4 sales?)
If you're just talking exclusive content then I see high bids for DLC from both Sony and MS.
Very wild, my friend. There will be no PS3 version, Xbox 360 only....how's that for a wild guess?
@Vinny_Says I mean content. That's the new exclusive.
yeah GTA 4 had record breaking sales but COD4 sold a lot more, then MW2 sold even more, and then black ops sold even more than that.PS3 multiplatform games sell outstanding but are still consistently outsold on xbox360....how about no exclusivity for what may be one of the best selling games of all time (remember the record shattering GTA4 sales?)

If you want cars in the game you have to preorder from Gamestop. If you want trucks in the game, you need to preorder from Best Buy. Amazon has an exclusivity deal with boats. Jets and other aircraft will be in the game, but you must first purchase the day one pilots license DLC in order to fly them.
The sad thing is this isn't too crazy of an idea.
well of course it was the first next gen GTA game, but 4th place is not even the bronze.@kingzetta

GTA sold 4 million Black Ops sold 3 times that with 12 million. and halo 3 sold 14 million.

In terms of multiplaytform only GTA 4 has sold slightly more than CoD 4. But you have to remember that in september 2007 Halo 3 broke the record for most day 1 sales. In march 2008 GTA 4 broke that record before being beaten by MW2 in november 2009. I should edit my original post because I originaly meant just those shaterring day 1 sales and not overall sales because in those terms it pales in comparison to Halo and CoD....
It's highly unlikely that the PC will get this the same day as the PS3 and 360 do. I'd say a 2 to 4 months wait for a shoddy port.

STOP SCARING ME!!!
Sony would probably win the rights to the exclusivity to the GTA since it was originally on Playstation and it will sell great either way. The exclusives will probably be something like a Car, outfit, character models and guns. Nothing super special but stuff that will bring back old memories of older GTA games or just some new things that will come out in DLC later on.

You forgot to mention that you need to purchase the game brand new to use guns.
Sony have had a lot of exclusive DLC items, but usually for less big name games. (nobody knew how Arkham Asylum or RDR would turn out) With a huge name like GTA, I think Microsoft are the ones more likely to really push for exclusive content.. Although, yeah, I'd give it a couple of months before it shows up elsewhere.
I think it being a launch game for the Wii U is pretty likely too. But no PC version for at least 6 months, you can pretty much guarantee that.
Has it even been confirmed it will come out on the Wii U? I mean, it's probably not coming out until 2013 and aren't people speculating a 2012 GTAV release date?
The only way to get ammo for the guns are through micro transaction DLC purchases. A case of 200 bullets for the AR will cost you at least fifty cents. Seventy-five if you want armor piercing rounds but you only get 100 of those per pack.@wolf_blitzer85 said:

i wouldnt be surprised to see timed exclusive DLC for 360 again, and im fine with that, i just cant stand store/console exclusive content thats never released to all

2012 is for Max Payne 3. Rockstar has never put out more than 1 game a year and they completely dominate april/may release launch for all their titles. They don't need to put out a game in the fall
@Prodstep: What he said. Just to show you how much I loved GTA IV, I played up until the middle of the "Manhattan" missions with the graphics on the lowest settings, at about 20FPS.

When I said that, I was thinking about new titles on major platforms, which it kinda true but still, Rockstar does well in the april/may timeframe. I don't think GTA V is coming out in 2012 anyways
