Tommy would be 60 now. I don't think it's him, he just doesn't seem that old. It'd be great though, Tommy is the most interesting protagonist of any GTA game in my opinion.

It does sound like Ray Liotta, but the accent is too different I think. I hope it is Vercetti though.

The main character is Hispanic according to the leak. Ray Liotta is not Hispanic as far as I know.

Tommy was a complete sociopath. He is not the "settling down" type of guy.

Doesn't sound like Ray Liotta at all - and if it were him why would they ask him to change the accent for Tommy? 
Besides, in GTA IV there's Graffiti that hints at the fate of Claude, Tommy and CJ - they're all dead by the events of GTA IV. Of course it's a guess, but GTV probably takes place after GTA IV

I don't see it being the case. GTAIV's universe was pretty much completely removed from that of the GTAIII/VC/SA era, and I don't see why GTAV would reverse that. Personally, I'm all for a completely new protagonist. Tommy Vercetti was a great character, but I'd much rather meet a new great character than revisit an old one.

The older white guy is featured a lot throughout the trailer, which I think means he's more likely to be the protagonist (he also seems to be the narrator). Also I think the voice is off, I don't think it's Ray Liotta and if he actually was meant to be Tommy Vercetti, not only would he be way too old, but he would not move from Vice City to San Andreas because of the weather. Also, there is a hispanic dude also shown a lot in the trailer, which could suggest the rumour of multiple characters is true?

I definitely think the idea of multiple protagonists makes sense, as one of the main complaints about GTA IV was how much the story was padded out.

You'd have this middle aged white guy trying to settle down, the black guy in the suburbs and the struggling actress trying to make ends meat (who's voice actor talked about the game, but could just be an NPC). As for Vercetti, I'd love if it's him trying to settle down and start a new life.. But I think they'll stick to the GTA tradition of always having a new protagonist.

I doubt it's him, since GTA 4 rebooted the continuity.

Also, I'm still thinking we're going to see multiple protagonists. If this is San Andreas and not just Los Santos, one for each city would make sense, I think. It'd be hard to pull off, but hey, let's see.

The guy they showed a lot could very well just be one of the mission givers telling his story. You never know.

Lupe made two albums before Lasers. Food and Liquor is great and so is The Cool. Lasers's... I think you're being too kind to it. It was awful mainstream shit.

Maybe it is Ray Liotta, but it can't possibly be Tommy, where this game plays out Tommy would be really old. Hopefully a new protagonist in GTA V. Tommy is an extremely good main character though.

Characters in general? Plenty. Protagonists? Not as many...lol.

Though I don't think John Marston was a sociopath.
