Been playing GTA5 pc for the past few hours and I want to take some screenshots of my cars and stuff but I cannot seem to find the screenshot button, I am probably missing something simple can anybody help?

Not playing steam version and F12 does not work

If all else fails, you can add GTA V as a Non-Steam game to your library, then the Steam Overlay will work for normal F12 screenshots.

You could use the Snapmatic phone app in-game, but the Steam overlay is much easier to actually get to the pictures after you take them (I got the game through steam so it's what I use most of the time).

Would Shadowplay be able to do that? never really used it might be able to capture a 5min clip via alt F10 then grab a screenshot from that... PC gaming ain't easy lol....

PC Gaming is actually incredibly easy, this being one of the best examples of that actually. There's a problem this dude is facing, and there's a very large number of simple solutions to it.

Fraps is a good one, but there's a tonne of other things that can do it.

Just a noob tip (im the noob and its my tip) for pc user:

you guys could just go to sittings (gta 5/online sittings)-graphics-screen type and change it to windowed/windowed borderless and then use sniping tool
