This magical sword makes its appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It is rewarded to Link by the Great Fairy of Kindness after he found all the Stray Fairies in Stone Tower Temple and returned her to her original shape. Because of its size, both hands are needed to wield it, and thus a shield can't be used at the same time. This is usually not a problem, as it is much stronger than the Gilded Sword and the size means Link can reach enemies further away.
While spin attacks cannot be charged with the Great Fairy's Sword, spin attacks can still be performed by rotating the control stick and pressing the button.
The blade of this sword is etched with black roses.
