I tried to join online games on 360 as a vocalist, but nobody seems to be playing this.

The achievements page says there are only 537 players so far (compared to 6336 for Beatles RB).  That's abysmal!  Where have all the Green Day fans gone?

Green Day just stopped putting out good music. I mean they are having a Broadway show based on them..

They're going to remake Carousel? (Sorry...probably went over most of your heads if you haven't seen many Broadway shows)

I just got the game. I didn't try any online yet though. I'm sure that the people who bought this game will probably just import their songs and play rock band 2 instead.

@PlatypusPlatoon: I played it for a while, got a bunch of 'cheevos for playing through my favorite album of theirs (American Idiot) and haven't really had the inkling to go back since.  Red Dead Redemption lassoed me.

I got this game for $40 from Best Buy and it's really good, even if the expert setting requires much higher accuracy than in other Rock Band games.  There's only one Green Day song I like that isn't on here and seeing as it's a cover of another band's song, I can certainly understand not including it.  This is a fantastic package and would have been worth the price I paid just to add all the songs to my Rock Band collection.
