    Griftlands is a deck-building roleplaying game from Klei Entertainment, the Vancouver-based studio behind Don't Starve and Oxygen Not Included.

    The game was announced at the PC Gaming Show during E3 2019. It initially released into early access on the Epic Games Store on July 11, 2019. After a one-year period of exclusivity on the Epic Games Store, the game released on Steam Early Access on June 14, 2020.

    The game features two types of decks — one for combat and one for negotiation. Players use both decks to advance their character's story, as both tie into the roleplaying aspect of the game.

    Apart from a few set characters, the story heavily relies on procedural generation. The game is also a roguelite in the vein of other popular deck-builders like Slay the Spire.
