    Overview

    Grima, the fell dragon, is the antagonist of Fire Emblem: Awakening. Over the course of the game, members of the Grimleal cult, including Validar and Aversa, make efforts to revive him from his slumber. In the original timeline, Grima's revival ultimately brings the world to ruin as his presence and an overwhelming number of undead beings known as Risen destroy civilization and threaten humanity with extinction.

    In a last-ditch effort to stop this course of events from taking place, Chrom's daughter Lucina and her allies travel back in time to before Grima is revived and lend assistance to their parents.
