Okay so I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to gaming computers. I have yet to play in a beta so I don't know how the game will run on my system. Couple questions.......How will this system run the game? What is the best processor upgrade I can make without getting a new mobo (And is it even worth it) ? I know this method is considered lazy but I know that the people here know games and they know GW2, so I figured this would be the best community to ask:) Thanks for any input!

The core2 will be a bit of a slouch, not sure what upgrades you can do with that mobo without looking it up. The 560 will do just fine. I haven't seen anyone with this combo though, so hopefully someone can help.

Speaking entirely out of my ass, this setup seems like it could run well at lowish-medium settings. That CPU is your most significant throttle, followed by the RAM.

Just saying, don't put too much faith into the Can You Run It thing, it seems to give off false results. Back when all I had was a crappy laptop with a dual core processor of a massive 1,9 Ghz, it would tell me I could play any game on earth, even on recommended specs standards, which was quite the opposite of the truth. Same rang true for my Video memory, which usually managed to score at least a minimum requirement (256mb), which was also wrong.

Thanks for the info! Looks like a cpu/mobo/ram combo is inevitable.

I have that same CPU and I can run the game smoothly (40-60 fps) on high settings at 1360x768 (with a 9800 GT graphics card). Since your graphics card is much newer, you should be able to run it at max resolution without any problems.
