    Guild Wars 2 is an online RPG developed by ArenaNet, and continues the subscriptionless business model of the original Guild Wars. The game is set about 250 years after the events of its predecessor in a world devastated by the ancient elder dragons resurfacing after millennia of slumber.

    seems interesting, I really liked playing engineer in Warhammer online.   But that was because Dwarves looked hella cool in that game.

    Probably the only profession in GW2 that I'm not going to play.  Cool for those who wanted this though.

    Anyway with this, my interest for GW2 got from " couldn't care less " to " Yeah, we'll see ".

    Seems like they're more cc than damage oriented, but maybe that's just me. Turrets didn't look like they had very impressive damage. As for what I liked, the grenade options are sweet.

    No way! Mesmer is the best thing about Guild Wars, they might've merged it with a different profession and renamed it...but I don't know if it's out for good lol

    Well, I'll be playing an Asura Engineer at some point just to relive my halfling DnD days. Should be fun - but definitely lower on my list than Warrior, Guardian, Ele and Mesmer.

    They said after the Necromancer that the last 4 professions would include one for people who liked playing the Monk (Guardian), one that was similar to an old profession but with a different name (Assassin -> Thief), one that was completely new (Engineer), and one returning with the same name (almost guaranteed to be the Mesmer).

    I still t hink they will not name it Mesmer, but something else. It will have some sort of "mind trick" mechanic to it tho.
