    Hey people,

I'm considering getting guitar hero live and two guitars because I feel like I'd like some plastic instruments in my life and I honestly like the idea of an ever growing and semi-random playlist in Guitar Hero TV. Thing is I am wary of the whole "the first hit is free" nature of that mode and that tokens to pick the particular songs you want need to be bought. I have heard that you earn enough currency for it to not be a huge issue but I wonder is that actually true in practice? Can you earn enough tokens to not feel shackled by not spending money?

My second reason for going for Guitar Hero Live is despite everything the Rock Band guitars seem rather hard to get a handle of with the dongle (everyone on ebay seems to have lost or is keeping theirs) in Australia . If you know a supplier, let me know. Seeing as the Guitar Hero Live controllers don't work with the older games I could see Rock Band equipment combined with more than one of the older games being a better way to end up with a bigger library than using GHTV.

If anyone has experience let me know!

edit: Forgot to say all of this is happening with my console being a ps3! Important detail.
