If you look at the pre-order one from gamespot it looks pretty cool.

@Metal_Gear_Sunny Brad is part of the staff, so he can upload any sort of image without following the rules that are for us, the users.

sorry, I was just checking out the trailer for Toy Story 3.  What's this about a new guitar?  Oh.  Um.  Lame.

Proof that you can't make metal out of plastic. Desperately out of touch. A disaster.

So much for advancing the whole fake guitar thing.  I was kind of hoping there would be something more significant in the game as a feature with the guitar that would make it more interesting to play.  I just got a PS3 and it seems as though I'll be sticking with getting Rock Band 3 regardless of whether or not their stuff has changed at all.

I actually like the way it looks without the wings. Dunno how comfortable it'd be to hold, though.

It doesn't look terrible. Unfortunately, the RB1 Stratocaster is the best music-game peripheral ever designed, so no dice, pal.

Also, they got rid of the touch strip?  BUNK!  There's nothing greater than tap-strumming an entire song and making people feel inadequate because of it.

Yeah, it's an attempt at "metal", but I just want all these guitar makers to realize that they're making toys, and nobody really fells like they're on tour when they turn on their gaming console and hook up their plastic instruments...

Still doesn't look realistic. They won't ever match up to the Rock Band guitars.

The redesign is nice, but with no new features, I'm not buying any more instruments for a while.

That's possibly the least metal design they've ever had for those instruments.

This looks like a cheap knock of guitar for Guitar Hero 1. Major step back, they should have just updated the Xplorer

I think you're overreacting.  The watermark rule hasn't changed. You'll notice this image doesn't appear on the Warriors of Rock page.And it's silly to expect them to post news and not put an image in the news story because it's watermarked. "
