Goemon: New Age Shutsudou! gives the franchise a facelift, putting Goemon and his friends in a futuristic rendition of Japan, fending off a supernatural force threatening the city.
A young cyborg known as the Biomech must save the remainder of humanity from robotic forces in the distant future. A platformer/shooter for the SNES, released late in the console's lifespan.
An action game published by Hudson in 1995, based on the popular manga series Kishin Douji Zenki of the early to mid 90s.
In the year 2097, the city of Neo New York is run by a tyrant named Raptor. It's up to Slash and his sword, the X-Kaliber, to stop Raptor and his army of Morphs in this futuristic brawler.
Run Sabre is a side-scrolling action game, much in the same vein of Strider. The player can assume the role of Allen or Sheena and fight through five stages through a futuristic Earth that has been conquered by genetic mutants and the evil scientist that created them.
Players control either Jimbo or Sully as they destroy aliens in this fast-paced shooter.
Distinct from the Arcade and Genesis versions, Strider for the NES features a more complex, Metroid-style structure, where Hiryu gains abilities throughout the game that grant access to new areas. The story draws heavily from the Strider manga.
