Half Minute Hero Super Mega Neo Climax allows you to switch graphical styles. Which do you prefer?

I never played the PSP versions but I much prefer the retro look over the new one.

Retro. The cartoon look is fucking terrible. 

I'm not a huge fan of either to be honest. I thought the PSP game had a great look, but those sprites just don't look quite right when they're scaled up on a TV. The new graphics are my preference, but I don't really like their art style.

I really like the retro look, but after a while it's just too pixelated on a large TV.

Gotta go with retro. The cartoon look just doesn't fit with the game. Instead of looking like a classic RPG, it just looks like a bad flash game.

I never played the PSP version, but I can say that I love the retro graphic style in this one.

I'm using the cartoon. It has a unique style to it, that I enjoy more than Retro, where I am constantly asking myself, "what the hell am I looking at?"

I guess i am in the majority when i say Retro. It feels weird to pay an homage to old JRPG styles in the Neo Cartoon look. It just doesnt look right to me.

Cartoon.  The retro look is terrible on an HDTV.

Retro looks fine on an HDTV. That kind of blown up, super pixelated look is the game's style and exactly how it looked on PSP. Anyone who talks about how it looked fine on PSP but doesn't look good on a TV is suspect.
