I'm a wee bit excited. I'm interested in what playing as a Non-spartan will be like.  

I'm about half and half.

Considering how many people like Halo, I'd say yes, people are excited. Although I've never gotten what's the big deal with Halo myself so I couldn't care less about it.

everything they've shown recently has been really impressive, at first when they acted as if i was an add on i was meh, now thats its a full length OPEN world HALO game i became stoked

I wouldn't say I'm really excited, but I have a feeling I'll be picking it up anyway.

I didn't really like Halo 3, so I'm not excited.

i cant wait to play it  never bought any of the halo 3 map packs so new maps for me + a new single player is well worth 35 pound :)

I am pretty excited. The campaign looks great and firefight looks pretty cool. I get to try it out in Dallas at the MLG event at the end of the month. I'll let you know more then. :)

I feel like it's just the same halo we've all been playing with silencers on the weapons.

Dont care, Halo Combat Evolved was special the others have never excited me as much.

I wasn't at first but now I think I will buy it. A more stealthy approach is intriguing to me as is the new Firefight mode

I am looking forward to it, though I am not "Really excited." I believe it will be a good game, that is all.

I'm more intrigued by Halo: Reach than ODST.  I might pick up ODST, but it's not a definite unlike Modern Warfare 2.

Bngie is a great studio, and all the Halo games have been right up my alley. So yeah, I'm pretty stoked for this.

Even though it  seems to be the unpopular opinion around these parts, I am a huge HALO fan. HALO: CE is one of the main games that introduced me to games in the first place. 
 
So yes I am quite pumped for ODST, not quite HALO 3 levels of excitement but a close second.

No, not in the least bit. I will most likely rent it from a blockbuster, but nothing more. The only other thing I'll ever have true interest in with Halo in the name will be Reach when that comes out. All I care about this fall is MW2  and Borderlands for my fps, and to see if MAG is going to come out and see how it plays.

Most people would ignore them, or post their opinion and move on.  You act as if the game raped your mother. 

I hate to break it to you, no one cares what you think all that much, and your repeat posts about how you dislike the series only makes you come off as a total jack ass, with nothing better to do with your time, except complain about things other people like, in order to make yourself feel better.  I'd advise councilling.

Except Psychonauts,Grim Fandango,Monkey Island these have 100 times the creativiity and originality of a Halo game. and yet we dont see a "do you want to make messy man love to Tim Schafer" thread...I should make that....the thread not the messy man love...
The series has never matched Halo Combat Evolved the single player of Halo 3 was 7/10. Adequate is how you'd describe the single player. I appreciate the multiplay is very good.But for me thats not that important my impression comes fromn the single player which was y'know adequate..nothin special.
