It's not bad.  I've seen better.

I don't think it would be good if this were the first game in a series, since it's just a guy with a gun. But since Halo already exists, they're pretty much telling us everything we need to know by not putting the Master Chief on the cover.

It's functional. Its halo, its blue, its in the nighttime. It has three bulletpoints telling you exactly what you need to know. It doesn't look terrible. It could be way better, but it takes no risks and gets the job done.

Ever since Halo 2, I've found the Halo covers to be rather plain. But don't come to me for constructive criticism on how to better your mega-franchise's box art, because I honestly couldn't tell you.

I think it's pretty nice. Prefer it over Halo 3's box art, to be honest.

Nothing special. Sets the tone of the game, kinda but the Halo boxart have always been like this.
