    Wanted to replay Halo 3 - since I never took the time to play it on a decent difficulty level.
     
    Fired it up. Had to install an update. Some text popped up after. About Halo 3 ODST and how Halo : Reach will be blah... blah... blah...
     
    Anyways - now, if I want to play the game, it says I shall sign in... but I'm already signed in. It proceeds to pop up 4 grey squares. In one square is my gamer tag, the other say 'guest'. No matter what I do, I can't get Halo 3 to let me play.
     
    I'm about to fucking build a bomb and send it over to Redmond - Bungie motherfuckers broke my game! They broke my game!
     
    GRRRRRRR....
     
    Anybody know what's up with that?

    Nope - I'm right where I am at when I'm starting up the game. The first screen the game prompts me to.
     
    'Start Campaign' is greyed out - because apparently I'm not signed in...

    @Seppli: Are you trying to play online or the campaign?  Because the Halo 3 disk that comes with ODST will not have the single player.

    No - I'm trying to play the campaign with my original Halo 3 disc. The update has kinda locked me out of the entire game. Single and multiplayer. The game wants me to sign in, even though I'm signed in...

    Ahh... it seems the update just fucked up the something temporarily... a restart of the 360 did fix the issue. Only tried restarting the game before... without turning the box off and on.
     
    Just finished up the first level on legendary. Good fun.
     
    Looking forward to finally take my time for a decent Halo 3 playthrough.
     
    The last time I just breezed through on the easiest setting... don't even remember why anymore. Didn't leave an impression that way of course. It's so much better than that and deserves a proper playthrough. Even though the German VO is atrocious - and there's no English track on the disk.
     
    I really hope the next generation allows for all language VOs to be on every disk/whatever and that DL-Services like Steam, XBLA and PNS offer all language versions everywhere. I hate to be stuck with German VOs.

    I'll play anything I haven't played yet - or didn't give a fair shake the first time around. As long as it's fun.

    Oh i thought you were like those guys that went onto TF2 just to tell people that HALO IS SOOOO COOL! (who have been playing it since release date).
