@Tenroe: They're just a temporary foe at the start of the game -- 343 has confirmed that there will be a new faction of enemies once the story progresses a bit.

Every Halo game has been of good quality 2 and 3 made some missteps and ODST was to short but Reach was fantastic and hopefully this continues to hold up the quality fans expect, I for one can't wait.

In before everyone says they are done with/never played/hate/too old to play Halo, Oh wait no I'm not....shit.

Reach was amazing. I hated ODST, 2 and 3 with a passion. Hopefully they'll make an amazing single player experience like Reach was.

Is there anyone older than...let's say, 27...that even cares about Halo?

Was hoping to see the new enemies.  A new storyline is really the only reason this game seems interesting.

You'd think they'd pick up on the fact that people aren't a fan of Armor Abilities. huh...and the DMR looks like shit

They had a chance to do a 'Stranger In A Strange Land' tale, completely fucking flip the mythology on it's head and what it's known for, and make it this lonely, inward Journey for the chief and Cortana.

My statement was a bit harsh, but my general feelings are still there. When they start touting, "YO, DON'T THESE REDESIGNED ELITES LOOK SICK?!" then they have already missed the point.

Probably not. But there are probably a whole lot of 27-year-olds and under that will buy and play this. Hell, I will.
