So its basically like a sloppy  joe esque burger..but with the taco flavor of their tacos?

I can honestly say that no Taco Bell in my neck of the woods ever sold one of those abominations in my lifetime.

Our bell never sold a burger, but they did sell fries a few years back.

According to Wikipedia: The Bell-Beefer - a taco like hamburger with a hamburger bun, taco meat, cheese, tomato, and lettuce.
After looking at other sites it seems it was just the insides of a taco put into a hamburger bun.

Ha! I worked at Taco Bell in 1998 (my first job lol) and someone once asked if we still had the burger.

Needless to say I had no idea what they were talking about. Then they went into a long diatribe how TB used to rock a burger.

There is a taco chain in Oklahoma called Taco Mayo that makes a burger just like that. I can't stand the awful stuff that they put in their meat so I haven't had one in years.

Don't remember Taco Bell ever having a burger but my local Taco Bell is still about the only place on Earth that still sells Mountain Dew Baja Blast..........the greatest beverage ever made.

I've had a taco burger before. They can actually be quite tasty. As far as Taco Bell's taco burger... yeah, I never knew that existed. And given the fact that it's Taco Bell... I'm thinking there's probably a good reason for that.

Taco Bell is only good when you're drunk and need food in your stomach. Unless you're getting some cinnamon twists. Cinnamon twists are awesome.

I remember these.

They called them a "bell burger" way, way back.... Say late 70's early 80's.  I ate them when I was a kid in San Jose, California.  !Oops, did I just show my age??

I remember "frings" from Jack-in-the-Box too!

Any one remember the Buger King Tacos?? They were maybe late 90 early 00's. They were i think two in a pouch but tasted terrible. Around the same time thier Jalapenio poppers came out.
