@yoshimitz707: Yep they are. Cheese curds on a burger doesn't sound half bad if they melt and don't fall everywhere. Poutine is really good.

I'd imagine it would just be food coloring. I doubt that they would want to use something in the bun that would mess with the normal taste of them.
