    Hamburger

Object » linked to 362 games

A hamburger is a hunk of ground beef served between two pieces of bun-configured bread. Hamburgers are often served with a variety of toppings and condiments. It is named for the region in which it was invented, not for the kind of meat (as is often mistakenly suggested).

Has anyone ever had a bison burger?  I personally think they a far better than your classic hamburger.  The taste is hard to describe, but deffinately different from a hamburger.

I haven't had one but I've seen them quite a few times in the meat aisle at my local supermarket.  I might pick one up sometime this week and grill; I'm in a burger kind of mood.

Yes, I've had a Bison Burger. They sell frozen Bison meat at most of the health food stores now.

My local Farmers Market sells Emu, rabbit, Ostrich, buffalo, and cow meat fresh.
I recommend trying Ostrich meat as well. Make sure to season with a little fennel seed for taste.
I've linked a great site that you can purchase exotic meat from http://exoticmeats.com/
I've purchased from here before and the Kangaroo meat was amazing.

    Buffalo burgers, one with mozza.

They're richer, a little chewier, and more brown in colour than the grey of a cooked beef burger. I'd rather have a bison burger if given the choice, actually, although they're certainly unique enough that you wouldn't want to have them all the time. I think it'd be easier to get sick of them than regular hamburgers.

It's like ground steak, much tastier than your basic hamburger. I haven't had a Buffalo Burger in a while, but damnit, now I want one.
