    Hamburger

Object » linked to 361 games

A hamburger is a hunk of ground beef served between two pieces of bun-configured bread. Hamburgers are often served with a variety of toppings and condiments. It is named for the region in which it was invented, not for the kind of meat (as is often mistakenly suggested).

So Hamburger lovers: Ketchup, Mayo, Mustard or all 3?

Mostly ketchup, sometimes mustard, occasionally mayo. Never all three.

Mayo only and lots of it - both sides.
You'd be surprised how hard it is to order this at a fast food joint.

Depends on the rest of the toppings.
If it's an all out onion, tomato, lettuce, chips, cheese, pickles kind of burger, then I'm going with mustard and mayo, but if it's a little skimpier on the toppings then I'm going with ketchup.
Putting ketchup on a burger that has tomato on it just feels so damn redundant...

Definitely all three. Given the choice I'd have Dijon mustard and a garlic mayo though. Or the tangy zip of miracle whip.

Also Ketchup doesn't make tomatoes obsolete because it has vinegar and sugar in it. It's just like how relish doesn't make pickles obsolete.

I enjoy ketchup and mustard myself. Although mayonnaise may work fine by itself, I can't imagine how all three would mix together.

If its a normal burger, then throw the works on there.
But if its quality meat, like Bison or something you would find at a country fair,
    then just mustard.

On a hamburger?  I would have to go with just ketchup.  Mayonnaise is only good on cold sandwiches (say, a turkey sandwich on rye) and mustard really shines when on a pork-based meat (Ham, Hotdogs, Leberkäs).

The goal of condiments isn't to cover up, it's meant to compliment the flavor.

Mayo on an hamburger? I've never tried it, but who knows, it might be good, but I do prefer to have both ketchup and mustard on my burgers
