Does anyone else just HATE pickles on their hamburgers?  Now, I love pickles.  I'll eat an entire jar of them...  but put them on a nice juicy burger and you have pure hell!!!

To me a pickle on a burger..  is like..  just eating a plain pickle.  I can't taste the hamburger anymore...  just the pickle.

So...  anyone else.. have this problem?

I like pickles generally, but i don't like them on my burgers at all. So usually i remove the pickles, or order a burger without pickles from the start.

man pickels ruin a good burger, but what you do is when your at maccas you take the pickel out of the buger and throw it at a window with all your friends and who ever's is up there the longest wins

I am a hamburger with pickle kind of guy.  The pickles add a satisfying crunch to the burger as well as some extra juice when you bite in.  Also, look at a hamburger without pickles; it just does not look right.

Ahem. As a Le Cordon Bleu student, I've learned that a pickles are not simply put in meat dishes to taste good. Their purpose in any meat dish, such as a hamburger, is to cut through the gaminess of the meat with acidity.

Pickles are great, but onions on the other hand.. o_o

Once you take a bite out if a burger and then finally get further in you get crunchy amazing taste that makes the burger.

Pickles and cheeseburgers are a match made in heaven, dudes. They're a hamburger necessity as far as I'm concerned.

They are good to a point. Eventually you get to a point where the pickle flavor overpowers the burger. Thats when things go down.

With pickles most definitely.  I'll even settle for relish in a pinch.

I love them, but if they're drenched in ketchup or something like that, I might take them out if I feel like it.

I agree that pickles ruin a good burger, but if we're talking about a fast food burger, they're required. It's more of a texture thing. The patty is usually too soft and spongy, so the crunch of the pickles is needed.

I really don't like pickles on my haburger. Sorry...Just not a fan.

Burgers are one of the few places where I do like pickles. Really complements the meat IMO. But then, I'm an odd eater who doesn't like to put much else on a burger, aside from requisite lettuce and tomato.

The only reason McDonald's puts a slice of pickle on their burgers is because, in the health departments regulations, the inclusion of the pickle is the tip of the scales balancing the burger from 'real food' and 'confectionery'. True story!

I'm a fan of sliced Kosher pickles on my burger.

Especially with some melted swiss cheese....and some mayo...and mustard...

Well, I hate everything but ketchup & cheese & burger in my hamburgers, so naturally, I hate pickles on them.
