Hang 'em High

LOCATION

One of the most popular Halo 1 multiplayer maps, Hang 'em High is an indoor Forerunner facility that is most well known for its "tombstone-like" structures.

Hang 'em High is a reference to the western film of the same name. This was one of the most widely played multiplayer maps in Halo 1, and it is no wonder why it received a Halo 2 remake and plenty of user-made Forgeremakes in Halo 3.   The map layout is basically a giant metal bucket with two high bases in opposite corners, a dip in the central floor, ramps, walkways, hallways, and plenty of "tombstones" for cover. Hang 'em High is a great slayer, team slayer, and CTF map.
