Atton Rand is the second character to join your party in Knights of the Old Republic II. He is a gambling, untrusting, smuggler.

Brianna is the "Last Handmaiden" on a Jedi Academy located on Telos IV in the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. She initially does not reveal her name to the Exile; until she mentions her name late in the game, she is referred to as the Handmaiden.
Canderous is a member of the Mandalorian clan "Ordo" who first appeared in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic helping the player defeat Darth Malak. He later also appeared in the game's sequel as Mandalore, the leader of the Mandalorians, playing a critical role in the story.
HK-47 is an assassin droid introduced in the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic series. HK-47 has become a fan favorite through his witty dialogue and dislike of organic lifeforms.
Meetra Surik, otherwise known as The Jedi Exile, is the main protagonist of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. After Revan's disappearance and the near collapse of the Republic, Surik remains as the last Jedi.
*Major Spoilers Ahead* Kreia is the once Jedi Master turned bitter old woman, who appears as a playable character (and final boss), in Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords.
The loyal droid of Revan, it's an expert hacker and engineer. However, it has an acid wit.
A young scholar and scientist for the Republic, this character can be met on Dantooine in Knights of the Old Republic II, and will join the Exile's party if the Exile is female.
A Sith Apprentice of Darth Nihlus, Visas is sent to assassinate the Exile, but is defeated in combat by the Exile. She will then join the Exile's party.
