round 1 game 2 @blargonaut won with his priest vs. shaman against @perniciousdistortion 2-0 loss, that was fun i cant wait for the losers bracket

We should probably decide if losers bracket is actually going to be a thing. I don't have a problem with it, but I don't plan on losing. ;) In all seriousness what do you guys want to do?

Side note - if anyone ever wants to play but doesn't feel like jumping into the shark pit that's ladder, feel free to add me and we can knock some games out!

@tabloidfootprints Hey, I could be go later today around 8 or 9 PM EST. Or later this week. We are selling the house I'm in though and have showings usually with about a days notice, so I kind of have to play it by ear everyday. Let me know if later tonight works for you.

@devise22: Later tonight totally works. I should be online then, so just hop on around that time and we can do this.

It really doesn't matter to me, but going double elimination seems like it could extend the length of the tournament quite a bit, and people may be in for more of a time commitment than they thought or would like to.

Of course I haven't lost yet so maybe I'm biased ;) .. Maybe we should take it to a poll. It just seems like setting up for double elimination next go around is the way to go.

@c0v3rt: I'm happy if we want to make the loser bracket a thing, but I say that as i am all ready a loser.

@darkshaper Hell of a series, sir. That first one was down to the wire. Both the 2nd and 3rd games I had some lucky draws with the Faceless Manipulators. That 3rd game could have gone either way.

@c0v3rt: Still can't believe that I managed to pull out a win in the first game. Good games.

Round 1 my Mage beat @tabloidfootprints Preist, then he beat my Mage with his Hunter and I beat his Hunter with his warrior. So I'll move on.

First game was pretty much a wash though since it looked like I just out drew you Tabloid, at least early on. Those second and third games were much closer. I was worried in the third that I may have waited too long to act, you had me quite low. Good games!

@devise22: I was hoping so hard during that last one to draw Unleash the Hounds and that it would somehow turn the whole game around. Really good games. Good luck in the next round.

@busted1der: We should post in the thread for public record. I'm still down any day between 6-9pm PST.

Updated! Looks like we've only got 4 first round games to go. We've already got a good number of second round games complete as well.

Yup. It's the real deal. Not sure how it happened. I think it means that I was the 15986th person to sign up.

@jswan13 Let me know when you may be available the next little bit and we can try to crank out our second round match up.

It's kind of a group decision. It's been mostly yes with a few maybes. I'm inclined to say lets do double elimination and if you don't want to participate for whatever reason, you don't have to and I can just credit the person who wants to participate with a win.

Me and @acura_max had our games today. His Mage beat my Rogue in the first match. Then, I saved face in the second match with my Shaman. However, he brought out his Druid and it was all over for me. He won the series 2-1 and will be moving on. It was fun, bud. :D

Tyashki and I went ahead and played our games early, I won 2-1. Good games, Tyashki!

Just had my match against @busted1der and it went all three games, and I came out victorious. His priest dusted up my hunter, but I was able to come back with my rogue deck. Good match, sir!

My match with @spunkyhepanda is done. I prevailed 2-0. I played my Warlock deck and Panda played Warrior then Mage. Almost lost the second game though but got lucky with my final draw. Good game!

I have a question, is it possible for us to change decks between rounds? The last couple packs I've opened have had some cards that I've been waiting on to build a Warrior deck, but I won't bother spending the dust right now if I can't use it in the tournament.

Once you enter with decks you have to stay with those decks throughout the tourny. I'm in the same boat as you! haha
