This poll could probably benefit from being the type where you select multiple things. For example, many people will probably do the preorder but also save up some amount of gold.

Did what I've done since the first Expansion annoucement, started hoarding gold from daillies from teh day of annoucement, and buy a 15 pack set because why not. This on top of my dust pile I have saved and from dusting all the cards leavin Standard should give me just about everything I'd want.

Hoarding a ton of gold from daily quests and then doing a bunch of arena runs when the expansion hits. Not the best way to get the new cards, but arena's my favorite mode, and it's a cool showcase of the new stuff.

I'm spending my gold on G&G packs while I still can. /shrug

I have 3000 gold saved up because I thought they would release the new pack close to the announcement. I save up using a combination of the tavern brawl, ranked play and daily quests. I guess I'll have close to 5000, if not more, by the time the pack is released in late April.

I've got 13k gold to play arena with and 10k dust I'll forget to use.

@fredchuckdave: Two questions: how much HS have you played to earn that much gold and how have you not spent it all? I have been playing an unhealthy amount since the beta and I doubt I would have earned that much in total.

@dgtlty: I'm an infinite or near infinite arena player (at this point it would be impossible to run out of gold basically). I only occasionally play constructed aside from dailies and I only buy like 10 packs an expansion or a single wing unless something is really appealing.

I don't really play that much anymore but the gold count still goes up.
