I absolutely adored Enslaved from Ninja Theory and this game has always been in the back of mind after playing that. This came out before I had my PS3 and I just never ended up checking it out. Does it hold up and even if it doesn't would it be at least interesting after all these years?

The game probably holds up. Combat-wise, it's God of War. Simple, fun, although not entirely hard. Don't expect a challenging combat system to learn and master like in Ninja Gaiden and DMC. The story is decent, with the voice acting being pretty good and the cutscenes gorgeous. The game is short though, and since it was an early PS3 game, there are segments that focus on the player using the SIXAXIS tech in the controller (can't remember is you can switch it to just use the joysticks).

If you can pick it up for <$20, I'd say its a great buy.

If you like God of War, yeah, go for it.

It's a great game, although some people will tell you otherwise. Do you watch Fringe? You might like it more if so.

And like Andorski said, parts of the arrow shooting require SIXAXIS control. It's actually the only PS3 game I ever played where I did not mind the motion control.

if you have played everyother great game this gen and fancy a real average, but quite nice looking action adventure and have loads of time on your hands then yeah i would.

the ability to throw dead bodies and control their trajectory using sixaxis is so much goddamn dumb fun, you should definitely check this game out!

Yeah, below twenty bucks wouldn't be bad. Or if you can rent it. It's still a serviceable game like it was when it was released.

Game play is a bit dated.

Story, chars and art are all excellent though and well worth your time.

Probably the best female protagonist in a game as well.

If you liked Enslaved, then absolutely. Great story, and the game is pretty short, so you can just blow through it pretty quickly. The combat gets dull by the end, but again, it's short.

Performance acting is great but there's nothing else special about it

Hell nah! This game is terribad. The pacing is off. It constantly loads. Kai is annoying as hell. And the final boss is impossible unless you learn the three stances and how to deflect properly, then you might have a chance. In other words avoid this game like the plague.

Dont know how it holds up really liked it at the time.

I checked it out like 2 years ago and thought it was kind of boring and old.

I picked it up cheap in a buy two get one free sale. Still haven't tried it out yet.

Ugh, I fucking hated that game when it was new. Can't imagine that it'd be any better now.
