Heiko Ihde was born in 1980 in Northeim Germany. After growing up in a tiny village, he moved to North Rhine Westphalia where he worked on Autobahn Raser, USA Racer and Moorhuhn Kart for Dutch Developer DAVILEX.
Then Heiko moved to Göttingen to get Fachhochschulreife followed by moving to Berlin to become Diplom Medieninformatiker (FH).
He was working for Frogster Online Gaming (which was aquired by Gameforge later) on Runes of Magic, Bounty Bay Online, Mythos, Aion and Tera.
After that he worked as a teacher at the Games Academy Berlin where he helped many students getting the knowledge and skills to work in the gaming industry.
He also founded his own company: hOSHI UG. He created and published VR: Vacate the Room the first Virtual Reality Escape Room for the Vive, VRemin an virtual Theremin Synthesizer. Recently two more Retro games were created and published by hOSHI: The Quest for the BIG KEY and hOSHIs Elektronauts. Also a few titles are announced that are not created but published by hOSHI.
