Probably the best of the Hitman series

If you are interested in the Hitman series Hitman 2 may be your best starting point for the sake of it's cleaning up the game controls from the first game. The Hitman series is generally about killin dudes...not ever last mother brother in the room but specific dudes and the game gives you a fairly open choice as to how you can go about doing the job. This is where the game shines as you can steal your enemies uniforms, blend in, explore, and plot out your course of action as you stalk your target out in the open, unlike many stealth action games that are a lot of hurry up and wait.

The series generally does a good job of making you feel suspense when you need it rather then having you hiding in a closet every 5 minutes, yet you can go in guns a'blazin if you so choose. the choice is yours.
