    Hollow Knight: Silksong is a metroidvania-style game developed by Team Cherry and is the sequel to their first game, Hollow Knight. Silksong focuses on the story of Hornet, a character encountered throughout the original game. Initially planned as DLC to Hollow Knight, Team Cherry announced in February 2019 that the scope of the game had expanded so much that they decided to turn it into a standalone sequel.

    The game does not currently have a release date, but is slated to release first on PC, Mac, Linux, the Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch.
