By the year 2027, the North Koreans have managed to unify Korea, annex Japan, and also invade the western half of the United States. As an American rebel fighter, it is the player's duty to help push the NPA out of the United States and end the citizens' suffering.
Take A Look At Homefront In Moving Pictures
Well I missed that in the swarm of E3 news, but it looks pretty exciting. Definitely keeping this on my radar. I especially like the straight-outta-cod4 machine gun too (well mostly the sights on it look identical, and thats a good thing!)
I don't understand how can North Korea, a country with a population, hold control of a country that is not only larger than it, but more populous. I mean I would think it would make more sense if it was nazi controller, or soviet controller America. But North Korean? Sounds a little far-fetched.
They would have trouble getting here. Strange choice of adversaries, to be certain. I'd be curious what Milius would say behind his choice. Hopefully just "it'd be neat," because anything beyond that would be hard to swallow.
That exact jeep is in Frontlines Fuel of War. I realise it's the same developer but they could have come up with a new model or 2
First Impression: Meh. I'm working on the assumption that we play as the resistance fighting against.. Koreans!? This game would sell well on North Korea and South Korea. The graphics in this game isn't over-well polished for a 2009-2010 game - Doesn't meet the standard. Prototype had one of the shittest graphics for this generation - wasn't even well polished and mentioned as an example of how shit some games can be.
Judging from the trailer, the blockbuster action in gameplay seems to lag alittle, isn't running smoothly.
It looks okay. I'd like to see some gameplay though. Its too early to tell if this is another generic fps.
cool beans. drama engine looks badass. like it knows that shooting a rocket launcher at something should cause something spectacular to happen and automacally it launches the jeep right over your head.
I always wanted a Red Dawn game, a Good red Dawn game would be awsome, so should be interesting to see if this game is any good.
any game that lets me destroy American cities is A-OK in my books. Everyone likes blowing up Yankees :)
They should not have released that trailer. The framerate isn't near good enough for a trailer, and otherwise technically it just needs work. The story sounds like some generic Terminator Salvation kind of mess so they need to make sure that's up to snuff as well. Really, if it weren't for their "drama engine" thing, I wouldn't give two shits about this game.
i dunno i think it's cooler when something totally awesome happens in a game at random and you're just like "fuck yeah, i did that"
I like a lot of the ideas they have in this game, but I would like to see gameplay in more areas than just the one featured in the video.
