Hue is the debut title from developer Fiddlesticks, published by Curve Digital Entertainment in 2016.
The player assumes the role of Hue, a boy searching for his mother in a grayscale world. As the story progresses, Hue gains the ability to perceive different colors and manipulate them to solve puzzles.
Prior to release, Hue won seven awards and was nominated for several more across various indie showcase events. Reviews at launch were generally positive, with praise for the art style and storytelling. However, some criticized the game for being too simplistic and lacking any replay value.
