In Hungry Shark Evolution, you get to experience life as a shark and see how long you can survive in the open waters. The goal is to grow from a small reef shark into a great white shark by eating sea creatures, unaware swimmers, and even seagulls lingering too close to the water's surface. You will also have to battle enemy sharks, submarines, and avoid submerged mines.
To gain a high score and earn more gold, you have to create chains, going from eating one fish to another in quick succession. You can also complete missions--such as eating four sea turtles--and locate hidden treasures for extra gold coins and gems. You can then spend these two types of currencies on upgrading your shark's abilities or purchasing one-use boost items. Some of the other sharks you can become include the mako shark, a hammerhead, and a tiger shark.
