Interesting fact about Hydrophobia (the condition), it is generally associated with Rabies because near the animals' (or persons') life they become disturbed by water.  Not the water itself but the fast motion of it.  So no one is actually scared of water, just the fast movement of it.

Whole thing reminds me of the end of Hollow Man. ...Not really. But it does.
 
There's parts of this that seem really cool. It seems like a huge mistake to me that they're sticking with the "gamey" platformer control scheme. I think a game like this would be much more enjoyable with a super-realistic control scheme. It would really bring out the primal fears of the player a lot better. But then again... I skipped around a lot during the videos.

The game looks excellent and what is even more impressive is that it is an Xbox Live Arcade game! It looks like a full retail game, so I'm very impressed. I've also been following it for a while, but like I said in another topic, I just hope the gameplay can stand up as well and it be fun to play. The water graphics are incredible but if the game isn't fun, that doesn't help much.

Only just heard about this game. Pretty intrigued towards it and the production values for a DL game is quite impressive.

Something about the way it looks, the camera maybe, reminds me of PS1 games.  The way action-adventure was handled back then.
