    The first Hyperdimension Neptunia wasn’t welcomed with much praise when it arrived in English form. It built up a cult following from fans of Japanese games that liked its unique setting and story idea, but most people couldn’t get past the horrid frame rate issues, the slow combat and the overall poor execution that the Japanese RPG suffered from.
