Ice Beam

A well known weapon in the Metroid series that allows you to hit enemies as well as freeze them. Ever since, it has been recreated in most notably the Pokemon series.

Ice Block

A giant rectangular (usually a square or cube) piece of ice. They can be walked across or pushed around.

Icicle

Frozen water that can be a hazard to the player or used as a weapon.

Igloo

An Eskimo hut built of blocks of snow in the shape of a dome.

Mr. Freezie

Originating from the arcade game Mario Bros., this enemy freezes players on contact and can make the ground quite slippery in its wake.

Penguin Suit

An item in New Super Mario Bros. Wii that gives Mario & Co the ability to slide on ice and throw snowballs at enemies.

Skis

Tools used in the extreme sport of Skiing. A persons feet are strapped into the skis, at which point the person rockets down a snow-covered mountain.

A spherical mass of snow designed to be thrown at at people in snowball fights.

Snowboard

A snowboard is a single board used to ski/surf down snow. The snowboard has permeated video game culture, and there are many games based on the snowboard.

Snowman

A snow sculpture of a person.

Even though water in games tends to bring about death, we all still hold it near and dear to us. After all, the human body is comprised mostly of it.
