Ichiro has been making games since childhood when his father bought him a computer on which he learned to program games. In 1999 he founded the indie studio Dejobaan Games, making games for the Palm Pilot and the PC, before leaving the former behind after its demise and concentrating more on PC games. He likes the freedom of being an indie developer because he can use ideas and subjects in games which would otherwise "get him fired" from a major company.
