    Overview

Somewhat of an evolution from Idle Animations, Idle Dialogue is there to provide comic relief, break the fourth wall, or to simply let video game characters unleash whatever random thoughts are littered within their head after a prolonged state of idleness. It is most likely to feature in games with a first-person perspective, as idle animations typically aren't coded in since the player would have no way to see them.

Note: Idle Dialogue is for video games that feature characters speaking when left idle only. If a character will both speak and animate simultaneously when left to their own devices, then the game in question should be added to both pages.
