Overview
Idol Janshi Suchie-Pai II is a riichi mahjong (two-player variant) eroge developed and released by Jaleco for arcades exclusively in Japan on December 1994.
It is the second installment of the Idol Janshi Suchie-Pai series (after Bishoujo Janshi Suchie-Pai and its Special revision). Rather than choosing from the overall cast, the game has players choosing from one of four magical Idols (Alice, Ichimonji, Sanae, and Milk) as they help Suchie-Pai recruit the other Idols to investigate a mystery.
The game was later ported to the Sega Saturn on April 26, 1996 and the Sony PlayStation on September 20, 1996. The PS1 version, released as Idol Janshi Suchie-Pai II Limited, replaces the full nudity with erotic poses, skimpy outfits, and swimwear. This version was later brought to the Saturn in 1998 as part of the Idol Janshi Suchie-Pai: Mecha Gentei-ban bundle.
Both of the Saturn versions later received ports to the Nintendo Switch on December 8, 2022, with the first released as Idol Janshi Suchie-Pai II Saturn Tribute and the second included in Idol Janshi Suchie-Pai: Mecha Gentei-ben Saturn Tribute. Both versions include optional cheats, including time rewinding and save states, and were included in the retail compilation Idol Janshi Suchie-Pai Saturn Tribute. The original version now uses censored artwork with censor bars.
